Darcy Stacom is the Chairman and Head of NYC Capital Markets for CBRE, a Fortune 500 company. Over the course of her 40+ year career, she has led the marketing and sale of Manhattan’s commercial real estate. She is responsible for over $145 billion in development deals, property sales, joint ventures, and leaseholds. Many of the dealings in Ms. Stacom’s name are $2 billion plus office building sales. Two of her most distinguished transactions include the single largest residential deal in history (the $5.4 billion sale of Peter Cooper Stuyvesant Town) as well as the single largest office transaction in history (the $2.8 billion sale of the GM Building). For decades, she has continuously ranked in the top 1% of CBRE’s global producers.
As a leader of the industry, Ms. Stacom also serves as a Governor of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and she is Co-Chair of REBNY’s Diversity Committee, encouraging diversity within the commercial real estate world. She is an active Board Member for NYU’s Schack Institute, organizing the annual Women in Real Estate conference, the highest-recognized conference for women in commercial real estate and capital markets.
