Prior to that he served as SVP and Deputy Chief Financial Officer from April 2018 to April 2019 and as Chief Financial Officer for our Retail Card platform from September 1998 to April 2018. Earlier in his career, Mr. Wenzel held Chief Financial Officer roles in Business Development, Growth & Investments for Synchrony and for GE’s Treasury & Global Funding Operation. He was also an Assistant Controller for GE’s Consumer North American Finance Business. Prior to GE, Mr. Wenzel worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1989 to 1993 and held various roles in a start-up healthcare venture from 1993 to 1998. Mr. Wenzel received a B.S. from Marist College and is a CPA.
