Mr. Moore served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Laser Diagnostic Technologies, a manufacturer of ophthalmic diagnostic laser devices used for the early detection of glaucoma, from 2000 until 2004 when it was acquired by Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc. Before this, Mr. Moore was a vice president at Alcon Laboratories, one of the largest companies in the ophthalmic surgical sector, where he was responsible for pursuing and executing strategic acquisitions and partnerships to broaden that company’s product portfolio. Mr. Moore also spent more than 10 years in various leadership roles at Carl Zeiss, Inc., a multinational ophthalmic company with primary businesses in optics, medical, scientific and semiconductor products.
