He has over 40 years of financial, management and accounting experience with a particular focus on the mining industry. For the period January 2003 to December 2016, Mr. Palmer worked on a part-time basis as a principal of the CPA firm of Marrs, Sevier & Company LLC. He spent 36 years at Ernst & Young LLP where he rose from a staff position to partner responsible for audit and advisory services to major international mining companies and serving as the technical consulting partner for SEC-related business. Mr. Palmer previously served as a director of Allied Nevada Gold Corp, Sunward Resources Ltd. and Apex Silver. Mr. Palmer holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Drake University and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver. He is a retired certified public accountant.
